Right now we are on a 4 1/2 year plan. That is when Eiko retires from her job
and I will hopefully become a consultant with time on my hands :> Having
a trailerable boat does broaden the horizons a bit, but so far our plan is:
First to spend some time in Mexico in the Sea of Cortez and the Mexican Rivera. Then trailer the boat up to San Francisco and spend some time in the Deltas and bumming around. Then the Puget Sound and the Inland Passage on the way to Alaska. All of this in the warm weather of course.
From there we will most likely do
Lake Powell
New Orleans
Head over to the Yucatan, Belize, Roatan and Honduras
Then Florida
Then up the East Coast until we can't stand it anymore.
From there maybepossibly put the boat on a Container Ship to Europe and do the Mediterrean and the Canals of France.
I have no idea how long this will all take. Our escursions are likely to be made in segments of 4 to 6 months at a time. Either leaving the boat somewhere or trailering it home.
All in all it twon't be long, seems like as we grow older the time goes too fast.
